I spent days feeling contractions, pain, loss of mucus… to be exact… it was 10 days! On Saturday night after a full day of contractions of 15 / 15min I decided to walk and on returning home in 30min my purse broke! I arrived at the hospital with 8cm of dilation, in the delivery room they made me feel comfortable, I drank only water to quench my thirst! As the contractions increased she asked me if I would like to take a shower because it would help, I took a chance !!!
She held my hands in the shower, talking and letting me relax when the contraction passed! It was 2 hours of labor! So calm that she said I could even nap if I wanted to laugh. It was already 23:38 When she said that if I squatted he would be born quickly so I didn’t waste any time she put a barbell and stayed in position… I did two long strengths and I followed my son out of me! I said: hi my love? !!! And he just looked at me ! It was intense!
My son was born in a totally peaceful, humanized, fast and painless delivery, without epsiotomy, without laceration, without anyone pressuring me to give birth soon! As soon as she was born she put him in me the first contact was wonderful, part of my heart was there outside my body …
With 3310kg 51cm Luis Axel came into the world on the night of 16/08/14 at 23:40
After 40min I took a nice shower, my son stayed with me all night and in the morning I was already taking care of him!
