Index

Beautiful, stylish, fantastic blogger and a beloved youtuber. So I summarize to Karen Portela, who is now waiting for Pietro, her first child! Learn more about Karen’s pregnancy history and also the preparations she is making to receive her prince! Welcome Karen, Marcos Vinicius and Pietro!

Changing Diapers: Tell us a little about yourself and your hubby

Karen: My name is Karen Portela. I am 29 years old. I currently work as a blogger and I am also studying the last year of fashion college. Dad is Marcos Vinicius, he is 31 years old and is a businessman and designer.

Changing Diapers: How did you meet your husband? How was the subject of motherhood and fatherhood between you since you met?

Karen: I met my husband next to my job. I didn’t take him so seriously, but he was always kind and caring. We have been together for 10 years and to tell you the truth we hardly talked about it. I had a certain fear of being a mother and always played with him that would be after the age of 35 haha.

Changing Diapers: How did motherhood come about in your life? Have you always wanted to be a mother or was it a life choice?

Karen: It was a choice of life that at first seemed to have been at a not-so-good time, economic crisis, time of CBT in college, crisis of 30 coming…

Changing Diapers: Was the discovery of pregnancy surprising? Tell us a little about how it went.

Karen: It was super! In those 10 years, even with our carelessness, it never happened to get pregnant, only scares even when menstruation was late, these things. This time it was different with little delay Mozão (that’s what I call hubby) was already sure that I was pregnant, I already doubted it. He then bought the pharmacy test and at first the result was no different, I was really pregnant and 1000 things and sensations crossed my mind the moment I found out about the test, but the record only dropped after the blood test.2902

Changing Diapers: How do you think Karen Mum will be? What has changed in you since you discovered your pregnancy?

Karen: I already feel like a mother, I already am and will be more protective, loving and silly haha. It’s amazing how a mother is born in us during pregnancy, I think it matures you, makes you strong and ready for everything.

Changing Diapers: Is it a well-behaved or full of desires pregnancy? Have you ever given Daddy trouble with wishes or desires?

Karen: I really want to, but not so much if I don’t eat it, I’ll be sick or my child will have a brick face. But I can’t see advertisements for delicious things that make me want to rush out and buy, I’m now trying to be more ruled.

Changing Diapers: How was it to receive the news that it will be a big boy? Did you already feel that a little boy was coming? And the choice of name, how was it?

Karen: I didn’t feel it. The desire to have a little girl was very great, so I researched the feminine feminine universe, since Mozão even wanting a girl was much more sensible and always tried to make me not focus so much on sex but on having a healthy baby. After discovering sex, my focus changed completely and now it falls into the universe of princes, researching a lot about the subject in different themes, such as; decoration, care, names etc.

Changing Diapers: What body care do you have to prevent stretch marks and other signs?

Karen: I use almond oil, cream with passionflower oil and that’s it.

Changing Diapers: How was it to let go of colored hair (your own brand)? Do you want to resume after pregnancy?

Karen: It was something well thought out, even though I had already accompanied some mothers who continued with colored hair in their pregnancies, as at first I thought about having a girl, what came to me very strongly was the fear of self acceptance, due to the fact that she would have great feelings. chances of having curly hair, I remembered my childhood and I, as the adopted daughter of parents with totally different characteristics from mine, I had this problem of accepting my hair, you know ?! Now, as I know it’s a boy, I think it will be different and this kind of problem doesn’t happen, so maybe I’ll take a chance on the colors again, but I’m enjoying the mane.

Changing Diapers: Do you have experience with changing diapers? With babies in general? Do you think you will be a clumsy or a good mother?

Karen: I’m afraid of some things, like bathing for example, I never gave a baby a bath. We will see. But I am trying to be more regulated in some things, acquiring habits like; taking care of plants, making the house more organized and cooking. All this to better receive my little one.

Changing Diapers: And daddy, how do you involve in the preparations, is he taking the initiative to choose trousseau or the kind that helps?

Karen: He helps, but he leaves the choices to me, giving some guesses every now and then, but he is a super companion, he goes with me always at all appointments, helps me with chores at home, massages me when I feel pain , due to my tiredness it is even helping typing the answers of this interview haha.

Changing Diapers: What do you expect from the mother phase of first trip? Do you intend to show your daily life as mom on the channel? In fact, how did your YouTube channel come about?

Karen: I think it will be inevitable that I share the care and the moments that I will have with my baby, after all, my channel and blog have all the lifestyle, and I like to share what makes me feel good. My channel started 4 years ago as soon as I got married, it was a hobby and without much purpose initially, little by little it became a profession and I started to want to share things that add and that really help, whoever accompanies me. Beijokas

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.

Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
