Why am I a Crying Pregnant Woman?

Index

You see a commercial and cry, a beautiful movie and cry, your husband asks something and you? Cry! It doesn’t have that pizza flavor you wanted then, you cry… Why is pregnant so crying? Sometimes this desire to cry, sadness, comes like a tractor on top of a woman. Nothing serious could be happening, but we want to cry and cry … A calm woman suddenly becomes a fountain of tears right in the middle of work hours, family lunch or even alone watching TV at home, all without apparent reasons. Why are all feelings more intense and sudden in pregnancy?

The fact is that the mood swings so common at this stage, can greatly disrupt the coexistence with family members and people around this pregnant woman. Some husbands are so impressed that they even leave home! It is well known that she is sensitive and that everything we can talk about or demonstrate, at some point seems to hurt her. But it is not intentional! Sometimes she doesn’t even notice this change in behavior. That is why it is important to have a lot of patience at this stage of life and feel that the person she trusts the most will be there, whenever she needs it.

But what is the reason for this change? The hormones! Aren’t they always? They are also responsible for changing the woman’s mood at PMS. And in pregnancy, imagine an accentuated and prolonged tpm for 9 months? It really is not easy, as soon as the crying comes, it goes away. It even seems that the pregnant woman becomes a bipolar person for a period of life, sometimes very happy, sometimes sad, tearful and tired.

But why do I keep crying? There are days when you don’t even want to leave the house, we wonder if we are going to take care of the baby, the layoffs, the responsibility of being a mother … Having these mood swings and pessimistic thoughts in pregnancy is very common. In fact, at the beginning of pregnancy , crying can come with everything, together with nausea, sleep, hunger, lack of appetite, etc. yes, this is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. However, during pregnancy he can take a break and become accentuated at the end of pregnancy for several reasons, one of them is due to the proximity of childbirth and also by the hormonal increase.

Whose fault is it? When to Worry?

Progesterone, which is the main ally of pregnancy, can cause these episodes of crying for no apparent reason. She and estrogen are responsible for all this mood swings. It is as if she has a discharge of a thousand times more hormones than the body is used to . However it is not bad news it means that the hormonal amounts are correct and the baby will not be at risk for low hormone production. They are to blame, but the intention of nature is the best possible, pity that not everything is perfect and the side effects of the variation of mood arrive with everything.

However, there are signs that not everything can be a hormonal discharge. You need to pay attention to this weeping pregnant woman and try to identify signs of depression in pregnancy. It is not uncommon for pregnant women to become depressed and in these cases, at the slightest sign of depression, report to the doctor. In fact, prenatal care is used for this, and of course, daddy must accompany mommy in the consultation and report any strange attitude of the pregnant woman to the doctor. Depression gets very strong and can even generate postpartum depression. There is little care!

Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
