Dra Ana: Usually the school snack is an intermediate meal, which serves to give energy to the child between two main meals. Ideally, it should contain a portion of carbohydrates to provide energy; a portion of dairy products, which have proteins; a portion of fruits or vegetables, responsible for vitamins, fibers and minerals; and a drink, for hydration. Always opt for natural and fresh products. Exclude soft drinks and avoid sweets. For the drink, opt whenever possible for natural juices without preservatives and dyes. Prefer whole grain breads.

Changing Diapers: How to help an overweight child reach his ideal weight?

Dra Ana: In many of the cases, the bad eating habits of children come from bad habits of parents, so the first step is to set an example, with a healthy, balanced and regulated diet. Often it will be essential to speak not to the child, not to the exaggeration of sweets and treats, not to eat in front of the computer, games or television. The food must contain all its “rituals” so to speak how to chew slowly and several times, avoid the ingestion of liquids during feeding, especially gaseous ones. Provide the child with a healthy diet rich in nutrients, avoiding fried foods and fats, including vegetables. Encouraging exercise and movement, practicing healthy habits lead to a healthy life.

Dra Ana: The first step is to look for a healthy and balanced diet. Foods high in bad fats should be avoided and the consumption of proteins, vegetables and water should be included in the diet.

Increase your intake of foods rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, as these foods will decrease the richness of sperm defects and increase your mobility. Foods rich in zinc, which is associated with increased semen volume, sperm count and testosterone levels. Amino acids, the traces of which can be found in meat, fruits and vegetables, increase sperm count and prevent it from clumping together. Foods rich in folic acid found in cereals, green leafy vegetables, legumes and orange can also increase semen. Increase your daily intake of calcium and vitamin D and consume allicin from garlic.
Consider incorporating more of the following foods into your diet:

  • Goji berries (antioxidantes)
  • Ginseng
  • Pumpkin Seeds (omega-3 fatty acid)
  • Nuts (omega-3 fatty acid)
  • Asparagus (vitamin C)
  • Bananas (vitamina B)

Changing Diapers: What foods are suitable for the pregnant woman’s diet and when weight gain begins to exceed the ideal?

Dra Ana:The first step is for the pregnant woman to have specialized professional monitoring. This is an important phase for the baby’s development and if the pregnant woman is gaining more weight than she should, something is wrong in her diet that should be balanced. The diet of pregnant women should have an average of 1,600 Kcal divided into approximately seven meals throughout the day so that she does not feel too hungry and ends up eating much more than she needs. Foods rich in fiber (fruits, vegetables and whole grains) help your bowel function, in addition to giving you a greater feeling of satiety, which makes them a good choice. Cut the fried and breaded during those nine months. Do not leave physical exercises aside, many of them are perfect for pregnant women. Walk, do swimming, aqua aerobics, yoga and stretching.
