Great news for future dads on duty !! On March 8, 2016, President Dilma Rousseff signed the bill that extends the five days of paternity leave to twenty days . But the right is not given to all registered workers, but to all those who work in companies that have joined the Citizen Company Program, which also extends the period of maternity leave from 4 to 6 months. Publication in the official gazette took place on March 9, 2016, putting the new law into effect.
The Citizen Company program is a government project created in 2008 that offers tax exemptions for companies that choose to extend maternity leave and join the program. For the company to join the program, it is necessary to enter the website of the Federal Revenue and register, later it will be providing its employees with the approved rights.

The same rights for adoptive mothers will apply for fathers. To receive the benefit, the father must go to the company’s personal department and request his rights . The proposal for greater paternity leave is betting on the interaction of parents with their children and on the protection of the child as determined by the Statute of the Child and Adolescent. During the period of paternity leave, the father must not engage in any paid activity and is exempted only to care for the child. If found otherwise, the father will lose the right of extension.

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.
Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
