With great pleasure I come to bring the account of the birth of Cibele, who with great determination and facing many difficulties and impediments to medical eyes, faced in the name of his dream and for his desire to give birth naturally. He realized his dream on 04/24/2014 giving birth to his beautiful son David.

My second pregnancy , the first being a cesarean section due to the famous “vicar’s tale” of the cord around my neck , I fell into this uneducated, and at the second opportunity a little more educated I decided on Natural Childbirth . I suffer from hormonal dysfunction which led to surgery to remove an ovarian cyst , in which I lost one of my tubes. The doctors told me that I would have difficulty getting pregnant and it happened twice; the doctors told me that i would not be able to have a normal birth , but i wanted to prove that i could also.
As I was past the 40th week, I had gone to the hospital for a cardiotocography exam , after being examined and submitted to an amnioscopy, I was waiting to return with the on-duty doctor to see the results of the exams, since I felt a different pain. Love, it’s contraction! No, love, it’s not, because the doctor moved there. Amooor, it’s contraction! It was 6:51 pm, love, again! 19:01 the doctor called, tell her love, no, I want to go home because I can take it there. They started rhythms every 10 minutes. I sent a message to my friend Doula saying I think it will now! Do you want me to go there? I can still take it, come tomorrow morning! I spent the night writing down contraction times, its duration and my pressure, everything was under control, I managed to doze off. At 7 am, my friend Doula arrived, already prepared to help. The pains were intensifying. What do you think about shooting? I replied: my dream! Cris arrives with his cameras to capture every detail.
Between the ball, shower , massage, walking, contractions gradually increased. At 5 pm the next day, almost 24 hours since the first contraction, I was tired and couldn’t sleep. Ana arrives the obstetrician, first we will listen to the baby’s heart , “everything is normal, you can wait”. Let’s see how is the dilation? One finger only. Putz a finger, what do you mean a finger? 24 hours for a finger? It’s not possible!
I’m tired, I don’t know if I can take it anymore, but if I go to the hospital I will have a C-section, I don’t want to. I will take it, we will change the positions you will get. Meditation and relaxation and at 11 pm the friend who stayed with me all day, needed to leave. If you need to call me anytime, I’ll be waiting. The pains really started and at 2:45 in the morning I couldn’t take it anymore. Shower… how I came to love you! At 4:30 in the morning wake up Husband, wake up mom because the time has come! Hospital 10 km from here. Oh, the contractions in the car! Someone invents the shower for the car please! We arrived at the hospital at 5:30 am, let’s examine and 4 fingers. Huh?! How!? Dedooos 4, 6 still missing out buffer, you will stay! I don’t want oxytocin! Ok, no oxytocin ! Childbirth Center, Shower, where are you my best friend !?
Two interns will attend your delivery , okay? You can call the Pope, I just want to expand! 6:30 am 6 fingers, we’re almost there! 8:30 am. Let’s blow your bag and it will hurt a little more! Pop it soon! You will receive ice cream !. I no longer had a mouth to talk, but as soon as they put it on, I went to the shower and hung up. Love, the nurse came to call, you gotta get out of the shower! Just 5 more minutes! Half an hour later, come on love! The nurse is calling! I’m not going out, it’s good in the shower! Come on Cybele, the time has come! Now the game will start!
First force nothing, the contraction passed. Second force. Oops felt something descendo.Vai Mom and strength that we almost! Third force, now go and was choking and crying, the relief , the heart back to beating. My baby was there, at 11:15 am on 24/04/2014, weighing 3,115 kg 50 cm, Apgar 9/9. Look, it looks like a man, it doesn’t even look like it was just born , the message on Whats App to my mother “We made it! He’s beautiful!” My teary eyes saw that being, I never imagined that with my mother I had already won her first victory . After 40 hours since the first contraction, after nobody believed it, after being told with all the lyrics that I couldn’t, I GOT IT! WE DID IT! I got it because I wanted to, I got it because I believed it, I got it because I conquered it!

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.
Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
