Those who don’t know Bruna Galdeano don’t know what they’re missing! She is a proud mother of two jewels, Beatriz affectionately called by Bibi who will be 3 years old and Miguel who was born recently and is less than 1 month old. I’ve been following Bruna since before Beatriz’s pregnancy, where she did a makeup vlog and with the pregnancy I started watching her videos about motherhood. Get to know a little more of this cutie who wins the affection wherever she goes!

Changing Diapers: Tell us a little about yourself, how many children, ages and how did you meet your husband? How long did you date and what was it like to receive the pregnancy news for you?
Bruna: I am a very communicative person. I love making new friends, taking walks, traveling, making videos, enjoying every moment of life and what it provides us. I love being a mother, woman and wife. I have 2 children, Beatriz, 2 years and 8 months old and Miguel, 26 days old. I met my husband through some mutual friends. We were at a party here in Sorocaba and it was his 24th birthday. We were introduced to each other and then our friendship started. In fact we already fell in love right away! After 1 month we started going out together and since then we have been together and that’s been 7 years…

We dated for 4 years until I got pregnant with Beatriz, who was one of the biggest scares of our lives. We ran out of ground and didn’t know what to do. After all, we weren’t married, we didn’t have a home, and I was still in college. But we took the letter and classify them both today as excellent parents and this helped us even more to mature and grow in life. We married in 2011 when Beatriz was 3 months old, after that, when Bibi was 1 year and 11 months old, we discovered her new pregnancy. This time already married, with a house and already with a daughter, our biggest scare was having another son to raise and educate, but our happiness was certainly greater.

Changing Diapers: Bruna, how did you start making videos on YouTube? How did the idea come about?
Bruna: As soon as I discovered my 1st Pregnancy I started to research on the internet and at YT about pregnancy and childbirth. It was there that I discovered Juliana’s channel (Juprof), which was the only Brazilian to make this type of video about motherhood. I started to follow her channel and I fell in love. At the time I was already making videos, there was a channel that talked about beauty and makeup. Then came the idea of making videos about the routine and the day-to-day of my pregnancy, and that was when Beatriz was born and I continued recording the videos about motherhood. I continued giving tips and showing our day to day.

Changing Diapers: What were the most significant changes that your body and also your personality underwent when you became pregnant.
Bruna: When I got pregnant with Beatriz I gained weight and swelled too much. I changed everything in my life, after all, I would be a mother. In Miguel’s pregnancy, my breasts became huge and my psychological was a little shaken by the responsibilities in my life.

Changing Diapers: How long did you breastfeed Beatriz and what were your biggest doubts and fears.
Bruna: I nursed Beatriz until 1 year and 6 months and she left on her own. One fine day, she woke up and didn’t want to know more about the chest. My question was whether I would know how to breastfeed and if everything would work out. After all, many mothers suffer from it and my biggest fear was not having enough milk to breastfeed her.

Changing Diapers: Speaking of changing diapers, did you have any difficulty changing the first diaper? Do you have a funny story to tell involving this moment?
Bruna: I had no problem with the first diaper I changed from Beatriz because I had already changed many diapers for my youngest cousin. As for Miguel, I was afraid to clean him after all, even though I had practice with diapers, I had never changed a boy in my life and I was terrified of hurting him. But in the end everything went well and the second diaper was already great. A funny story about Beatriz’s diaper change was when I changed her on the couch at my mom’s house and didn’t put the changing mat underneath. When I went to change her diaper she did a lot of poop on the couch (hehehehe) and with Miguel he always makes a flying pee on Mama (kkkk).

Changing Diapers: For those who don’t know, Bruna had her children in very different situations. Beatriz of cesarean delivery and Miguel of normal delivery. Bruna, in your opinion, what is the main difference between normal and cesarean deliveries and how was your recovery in both?
Bruna: The main difference for sure is recovery. It took me more than 60 days to recover from Beatriz who was a cesarean. Full recovery took about 6 months. In Miguel’s delivery, which was normal, I recovered in 1 week and totally in 15 days.

Changing Diapers: Do you intend to have more children?
Bruna: NO. My psychological could not take it.

Changing Diapers: How did you find out that Beatriz was allergic to cow protein? And how it went from there.
Bruna:When Beatriz was 13 days old I decided to give her a supplement to see if she would sleep better at night. I gave her a 30ml bottle and she suckled and slept. The other day at night, when we also supplemented with a 30ml bottle, she threw up everything. But we thought it was reflux, the other night she vomited again, so we decided to change the brand of milk. But it still continued the same thing. When we went to the pediatrician he said it could be APLV. So we did a blood test with 3 results, when 1 of the results came out, it was weak and the other 2 were moderate. Thus, Beatriz’s APLV was proven. Up to 11 months she had no introduction of milk or derivatives, etc. That was when we started introducing cookies, danone and milk to see if she was still allergic and thank God she accepted it well. Including cow’s milk. At the time, the Pediatrician told us that this allergy is very common in children and that 98% of the cases it disappears within 1 year of life and that was the case with Beatriz. And today, thank God, she is healed.

Changing Diapers: What did you use most during pregnancy that could indicate to girls who are still going to get pregnant or are already expecting their babies.
Bruna: In Beatriz’s pregnancy I used a lot of almond oil and moisturizer to prevent stretch marks, Natura’s Mom and Baby. In Miguel’s pregnancy I didn’t use anything (kkkk)

Changing Diapers: Being a mother is …
Bruna: Having your heart beating out of your body and loving without limits …

Bruna, it is a great pleasure to have you on my blog, and I wish you all the best and your beautiful family! Thank you and a bj! Bruna’s YouTube channel: Bruna Galdeano

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.

Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
