From Pregnancy to Birth of Dudu or Childbirth

Index

We went to the maternity hospital where I intended to have a baby, I already felt a lot of pain since Dudu was over 3,700 kg, and the problem with the bones was more aggravating. There I met a team of Gos, it was Dr Thiago who had seen me, along with his nurse and at that time already at 40 weeks said that if the bag did not break on Wednesday I should go to the hospital on Thursday for cesarean delivery. Thursday it was me and my husband, I left Joana with my mother and we were very happy because we were going to see our prince.

When I got there, I was hospitalized, but Dr. Thiago was on duty on Friday! And now? Even so, I was on a Thursday and Dr Mélec was the one who attended me, a very nice little boy, 1.50 tall, a loving person. He did the induction of normal delivery , but I had no dilation and had been in pain for a few days now and as I already had a cesarean section he talked to me and then we decided to do the cesarean. Entering the delivery room, I took Rack anesthesia and soon after I started to feel really sick, I couldn’t breathe, but it wasn’t like the previous time, it was very suffocating and I started to lose my senses, in the distance I heard the team running and I heard someone say , if she doesn’t come back we will intubate.

I spent some very tense moments because the anesthesia returned to the lung and then I was not able to breathe. I only remember the doctor adding oxygen and then Dudu’s crying in the distance, when he was clean and curled up I was better and then I could see him more quickly because they took him to the nursery. Due to the problem I had they put me under observation and I was only able to see him again the next day because I was in a separate sector from the maternity ward, I think it was close to the ICU, but I ‘m not sure.

Anyway, I think I was a little traumatized by the situation and I have a certain block with this episode, as the anesthesiologist said it was an isolated situation, and now I know that since Melissa’s delivery was super peaceful.
Anyway the good part, my son was born at 41 weeks of gestation weighing 3,850kg and 53 cm on October 5, 2006 at São Leopoldo hospital and maternity hospital and it was one of the happiest moments of my life.

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.

Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
