I started doing prenatal care, and at the time of the initial exams I had normal blood glucose, but kind of on the limit, 110 was the value, but that’s okay. Everything was normal until I reached 18 weeks and my uterus was high and the baby was very big , that’s when the prenatal consultation without any other complementary exam, just because of these two factors, the doctor said I had gestational diabetes!
I got scared like that! My husband, me and my parents, we were very afraid of something happening to the baby, I completely removed the sugar from the diet and following the advice of this doctor, I went to look for a high risk prenatal care. As always, God surprised me and put an angel on my path, and an angel namesake! Dr. Patricia was very loving, concerned, and busy! I liked her right away, I was doing prenatal care at the Alvorada hospital in Sto Amaro, my husband and I love this doctor.
She asked me for some blood glucose tests, including some more complex ultrasounds that they already had at the hospital, and then the ease of doing prenatal care at that hospital, there is everything at hand and when she asksit can be done on the spot. I made 3 glycemic curves and nothing was found. All of them normal, 78 of fasting blood glucose and 120 with a glucose load, thank God it was just an unfortunate guess from the previous doctor.
Since I was there, I continued doing my prenatal care with her. However, as we were in need of a health plan, I couldn’t have a baby at Medial, there was another health plan, Samcil and Joana had been born for him, so we continue to pay and I do the prenatal care with Samcil’s doctor too.
However, this doctor thought that I had high blood pressure and wanted to take Dudu at 37 weeks , on my accounts and on Dr. Patricia’s I was 34 weeks old! After taking the hospitalization paper, I stopped going to this doctor, he was hasty and inexperienced, I was not trusting him. Dr. Patricia would not deliver, she needed a doctor to do it under the agreement that I could have the baby without any need, but how to do it then?

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.
Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
