Every day we see several cases of child violence in the world, either due to the total ignorance of the adults around him or due to pure malice. Currently, the case is approached and taken more seriously than in ancient times, because it has increased cases or because they are becoming aware?
It is considered child violence when parents or adults responsible for that child or any adult of the minor’s life are babysitters, teachers, uncles or relatives who practice psychological, physical or even sexual aggressions, shaking and causing not only physical, but psychological damage to the child. The vast majority of cases occur in homes of alcoholic parents, drug addicts or with psychological disorders, which usually cause negligence or recklessness in acting with their children or child, committing atrocities as if it were something natural.
Different Types of Violence Against Children
When we think of child violence we already imagine a child being beaten, being beaten. But this is not the only way for a minor to be beaten and have his life shaken for the rest of his life. Through curses, beatings and daily threats a child’s life can be marked and generate an insecure adult, full of traumas, psychological disorders and when not aggressive and putting into practice everything he has received from life over the years.
Domestic violence
Of all the cases, domestic violence is considered to have the highest rate in the world. Also considered as psychological torture , the parents or adults responsible for the child disparage and disapprove of all the child’s actions, blocking their willingness to act and to want to be able to do something, causing great insecurity in all areas of life. Many cases are followed by threats of abandonment and physical aggression, generating fearful , insecure, aggressive and psychologically shaken children. Any act that strikes a child’s body with aggression, whether it is a slap on the butt or aggression with objects that may cause bruising, is considered physical violence.
Sexual Violence:
Sexual violence is considered to be the act between an adult and a child, with the purpose of the adult stimulating the child sexually or for the purpose of practicing any sexual stimulus or act with the same. Causing genital lesions, bleeding, bruising or abrasions in different regions of the body. Children who are victims of sexual violence usually present indicators of sexual acts, either through gestures, the way they act with other children or even reporting the fact as something natural and routine. Often suffer from night nightmares s , have aggressive behavior and feel fears with contact other adults.
They grow up with insecure behavior and tend to move away from human life, afraid of what they may suffer. They have difficulties in romantic relationships and in professional environments, which ends up aggravating the situation even more if they do not obtain psychological support from the beginning. Many families tend to hide the cases so that they do not become public and end up putting aside the child’s possible recovery, which makes rehabilitation even more difficult over time.
Negligence Violence:
The fact of failure to care for children also falls into violence. Parents or guardians are responsible for all childcare, whether food, clothing, educational and emotional. There are cases of total food neglect, and hungry children are found, without minimum body and residence hygiene. Filthy clothes, houses full of garbage and children exposed to various types of diseases and risks. In this case, 90% are reports of households that face alcoholic adults or drug addicts, who cease to appear for days leaving the child to their own devices.
Many cases, even though they can be avoided through complaints , end up leading to a more sad outcome. Unfortunately, domestic child violence can be fatal, many children lose their lives daily due to the carelessness of their parents and guardians, many are verbally, physically and sexually assaulted and their dreams are destroyed by inconsequential adults. Many of these little ones have their character destroyed, their dreams torn apart and their bright futures shattered like dust by the unpreparedness of so many adults to deal with a child. For the selfishness of thinking about themselves and leaving someone so dependent at the mercy of luck or for even treating a child like trash when one should only give love, affection and attention.

My name is Dr. Alexis Hart I am 38 years old, I am the mother of 3 beautiful children! Different ages, different phases 16 years, 12 years and 7 years. In love with motherhood since always, I found it difficult to make my dreams come true, and also some more after I was already a mother.
Since I imagined myself as a mother, in my thoughts everything seemed to be much easier and simpler than it really was, I expected to get pregnant as soon as I wished, but it wasn’t that simple. The first pregnancy was smooth, but my daughter’s birth was very troubled. Joana was born in 2002 with a weight of 2930kg and 45cm, from a very peaceful cesarean delivery but she had already been born with congenital pneumonia due to a broken bag not treated with antibiotics even before delivery.
